What an amazing and perfect day together for our Sunday Worship Service and Potluck Lunch on August 7'th in Palatine! Only God is able to bring together old friends and new friends and people from every walk of life and have it feel like the best family reunion with so much love and joy in the room! God pours out His love when we gather in His name...and it's awesome to experience His presence! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us to help and a special thank you to Carolyn and Jim P. and their friends from Covenant Church of Schaumburg who hosted our lunch and provided such delicious food and pop and dessert and McDonald's cards for our friends! Thank you also to others (we always need other volunteers) who brought food because we never know (since February 2004) exactly how much food or how many volunteers will show up, but God knows and it could only be God that it was an overflowing feast with enough left over for those who were so grateful for a take-home container!
