Come to me all of you who are weary and burdened,
Timothy's Ministry first began in December 2002 as God's answer to my prayer after I cried out to God on my knees the day before my son Tim's birthday (Tim passed away the year before). I remember saying, "Help me, God, if only I could have had the simple joy of baking Tim a cake, what I would have given." Click on "Stories" in the top navigation bar to read how it all began.

DONATIONS - Help Us Help Others
Timothy's Ministry is licensed by the state of Illinois as a non-for profit 501(c)(3) charitable foundation. All donations are tax-deductible. Your gift will be used to help us purchase food, coffee, and supplies needed to serve delicious home-cooked meals twice each week at Tim′s House (serving approximately 3,000 meals each year) as well as toward our Timothy′s Ministry Sunday luncheons (also serving approximately 3,000 meals per year). Additionally we are able to offer financial assistance for housing, medical needs, transportation, and so much more that truly continues to make a difference in the lives of the people who come to us, and has helped many step out of homelessness into housing.
Your donation makes it possible for us to keep our doors open in two locations so that we can provide not only the tangible gifts of delicious meals, a small food pantry, bus passes, and a clothing room, but most importantly, a warm and loving place to gather where people experience a caring family through the love of God and prayer as they tell us this is a place where they are at peace and where they feel real hope, sometimes for the first time! Thank you!
If you would like to make a donation via check, please make the check payable to "Timothy's Ministry" and send it to the address below. We will provide a receipt. Direct questions to Marian at Marian@TimothysMinistry.org.
We can always use items of clothing, food and furniture. If you would like to donate any of these itmes contact Marian at Marian@TimothysMinistry.org. Donations can always be dropped off in the Clothing Room during our Sunday luncheons in Arlington Heights or at Tim's House (3850 North Tripp, Chicago) on Thursday (3 - 7 p.m.) or Friday (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.).
