As I write this quick note from Tim’s House on this beautiful sunny Friday in Chicago as people are gathering, enjoying a delicious breakfast, and seeing the overflowing food and clothing and even brand new pillows that were donated to us, I am so thankful to God for providing everything we need and especially for each of you! Thank you to each of you who have donated either clothing or meals or financial donations, and this is truly a picture of the Body of Christ!

As of today, we have helped 11 people in the last year get off of the streets and move into housing, and I am so grateful and excited to share that Calvin just moved into his room (large room similar to a studio) in a Mercy Housing building. Calvin had been navigating living without a home for years, and he moved in last Friday! We are all celebrating at Tim’s House as most people here understand the pain of living outside. He told me that every day he has woken up, he thinks he is in someone else’s place, and he could not be more grateful and thankful! It is a great day at Tim’s House today and ‘This is the day the Lord has made and we are rejoicing!!!”
